The National Center for PTSD aims to provide information, tools, and resources for Veterans with PTSD and their families.
Make the Connection aims to connect Veterans with information, resources, and solutions to issues affecting their health, wellbeing, and everyday lives.
Vet Centers are community-based counseling centers across the country that provide a wide range of social and psychological services, including professional readjustment counseling to Veterans, service members, and their families.
Service Dog Providers
Determined to end veteran suicide, K9s For Warriors provides highly-trained Service Dogs to military veterans suffering from PTSD, traumatic brain injury and/or military sexual trauma. With the majority of dogs coming from rescue shelters, this innovative program allows the K9/Warrior team to build an unwavering bond that facilitates their collective healing and recovery.
Canine Companions provides service dogs to a wide range of individuals with the goal of providing independence to clients and their dogs. They provide service dogs to adults, children, and veterans as well as facility dogs to professionals working in healthcare, criminal justice, and educational settings.
